poet, writer, editor, and educator.
I’m currently available for readings and workshops.
my work
my writing lives where natural and emotional landscapes intertwine. it explores the intersections of personal and universal grief, resilience, memory, & connection, often through the lens of nature and the body.
in poetry or prose, my work balances evocative imagery with narrative undercurrents. rhythm and lyricism are central to my work, as is a willingness—a need—to explore what often goes unspoken.
me
the landscapes of Miami, New England, Southern California, and Chicago populate my work: home is a palimpsest.
my life has been equally marked by privilege and precarity—cross-country hitchhiker and college athlete, mill-town bartender and elite student.
mother and mourner, pill-taker and peace-seeker, weathered by storm and fire.
each path takes me closer to the stories I need to tell.
